COVID-19 has created such a precarious situation,
There is no pollution, yet so much suffocation,
Life is brought to a standstill, yet palpable tension,
Who can control this situation?
Lockdown brought an end to traffic woes
Deserted look with mask-clad individuals on roads,
Birds chirping, yet the smile eludes our face
Uncertainty and chaos in an air of confusion,
Who can control this situation?
While we planned our growth and progress
The world brought to halt by a mere virus
As the government and public work in collaboration,
Vaccine seems to be only solution
Who can control this situation?
Guidelines after guidelines, webinars, and discussion,
Drug trials and newer techniques of oxygenation
Yet social distancing seems to be the only solution,
Nature has created such an unprecedented condition
Who can control this situation?
COVID-19 pandemic is the biggest reality of our generation.
As Science progressed by leaps and bounds
World found itself helpless as the virus hounds,
COVID warriors are battling this unending war
The “new normal” for now is the only solution,
COVID-19 has created such a precarious condition.
