Competency based medical education (1)
It came with a lot of apprehension
All faculty were in a lot of tension
About its implementation.
Whole syllabus was in change
And No one likes an evolving phase
Lot of pushing has to be done from HOD
To welcome the rising sun called CBME
In 2020 it came to us
Brought COVID along with it as nemesis
Alas the whole thing now has to be taught online
Which made us more determined
Zoom, Google meet were order of the day
So double whammy for us to make the sessions hay
But with practice we mastered the camera
Soon started enjoying the process of virtual area
The period of teaching was made cut short
Still, it couldn't dampen our spirit and thoughts
Was time to take exams
Was maddening to see the bulky sheets
Session of 2020 was now to an end
Taught us a lot of lessons at its fag end.
COVID and CBME seem to get along well.
Hope COVID ends
And CBME lives
